What we collect

My Lunch Notes collects the information you give us to do one thing: help you leave regular handwritten notes for someone you love. That includes your name, email, phone number, timezone, and the profile you write about your recipient (their name, relationship to you, interests, important dates, and any context you add). Recipient profiles are intimate — we treat them that way.

Faith and other sensitive details

If you choose to tell us a recipient's faith so we can include verses or blessings, that detail is optional, used only to select note content, never shared or sold, and you can remove it at any time.

How we use AI

Some note categories are personalized by a language model. Only the non-sensitive profile fields you provided are shared with our AI provider for that purpose, and never your recipient's faith. Scripture is never AI-generated.

What we never do

• We never sell your data or your recipients' data.
• We never contact your recipients. Notes go only to you.
• We never use your information for advertising or share it with data brokers.

Your rights

You can view, edit, export, or delete your account and every recipient profile at any time from Settings. Deleting your account removes your personal data from our systems. Payment details are handled by Stripe and never touch our servers; text delivery uses Twilio; email delivery uses Mailgun.
